An exclusive Art Exhibition of the Norwegian painter Alfredo Andersen, with physical paintings and a digital exhibition with more than 200 paintings.
One of the greatest figures in a culture that condenses the successful relationship between Brazil and Norway is Alfredo Andersen. Born in Kristiansand in 1860, he was part of the art scene in both his hometown and Oslo before he migrated to Brazil in 1893, where he became one of the most important painters in the south of Brazil.
The Alfredo Andersen exhibition is made possible by the support of The Andersen family represented by Tor Erik Jensen, Ragnhild Jensen, Sven Rudolf Peersen, Anne Jelstrup Egeland , Christian Sigmond and Sørlandets kunstmuseum.
